In Mounting Spat, Bruno Calls Spitzer ‘Dictator'

Thje newly elected Governor of New York State has promised to clean up some of the dirt that has been present in the State Assembly and Senate for years. If anyone has ever attempted to refinish an old peice of furniture, once you begin to strip the piece down to bear wood, one notices how many layers of varnish exist, forcing the use of stronger compounds in order to achieve the arrival of the material in its original condition. Unfortunately, most of the inperfections will still remain. One hopes they can be hidden from the the naked eye, and once again a smooth satin finish beautiful in appearance will once again embrace the article for all eyes to behold.

The article which must be stripped ,cleaned and refinished, are our own State Representatatives of both parties. Instead of Marbles, they play for Power, and the control of the little people of our state . It is really our own fault , because they appeared as competent, able honest individuals who could speak for the states residents, but instead spoke for their own parties. These worms, in my opinion will do nothing short of destroying not only the free enterprise system, but continually squeeze us, their constituents dry, and leave us with nare a penny to our name. For all that we have contributed, for better Transportation, better Education, and a betterlife, all we will receive the Band Aids that keep falling apart, Bill after bill.

A committee consisting of professionals such as Accountants, Economists, Medical people, Scientists, Educaters, Energy experts, and ayone that cannot be bought with Power, or Money etc. get together and report to New Yorkers with full knowledge of the present state of affairs; Throw these Legislators out of office and get people with visions of making our New York State, the finest in the world, once again.

Sincerely,

Civility
