The US and the rest of the world trade trillions each year. The Chinese alone account for a sizeable portion albeit at controlled (Chinese) prices.

The US economy is 3% year of about 13 trillion. That's trillion folks. My state alone has a GDP which is about the 5th in the world.

Inflation has been low for years, as have interest rates (less than 6.5%). The stock market reached all time highs this past year. Over two-thirds of the population own their own homes.

We have good social security benefits and medicare.

Our health system is the best in the world, per capita. No one goes to bed starving. There are over 250m Americans covered by some sort of health plan.

We have the best, most modern, best trained and highly motivated military in the world. We have dozens of aircraft carrier fleets, alone. Our nuclear arsenals have protected us from the Ruskies. We can obliterate our foes within seconds, if we so chose.

And if someone doesn't like the above, we have planes and boats which will take them elsewhere.
