There is no rising campaign agaist the Jews in Europe; we are seeing the old iceberg of European hatred for the Jews being revealed. When are Americans and American Jews going to wake to the fact that they are largely despised in the world? Israel has even fewer friends than has the U.S., and a dimmer future. I suppose there is nothing to done about this; complaining certainly won't help. Protesting? To whom? Threatening? Whom?

The Marshall Plan helped Europeans to rebuild their chauvinist, racist , socialist culture. We are now doing something similar in Iraq. Paul Krugman says our children are growing shorter because they have been under-nourished under Republican rule. Michael Moore says we have the worst health-care in the world because of a Republican conspiracy with the American corporations and doctors aimed at making them all rich at our expense. Al Gore says that American Business and the Republicans have all but destroyed the environment for everyone, and if we want to survive we had better start doing something about American Business's rape of the world. And Hilel Halkin wants to have a boycott of British bigots?
