Upper East Side Developer Draws Ire

Submitted by Dianora Niccolini, Jun 25, 2007 18:21

I am an artist and have been living in my building since 1964. I am almost 71 years old.I live on Social Security and the occasional sale of some of my art work. My total income is less than $15,000. per year. Where am I going to go???? How can David Liston be "cautiously optimistic"? It doesn't appear that he is at all concerned about those of us who are old and living with limited financial resources. How would Mr. Liston feel if it was his mother who was going to be thrown out on the street because of a heartless and greedy landlord? Would he be cautiously optimistic? Adelle Mailer, ex-wife of Norman Mailer, lives next door and is also going to be thrown out of her apt.if Mr. Chou and co. have their way.
