Garnett evidently has said he wants to go to a warm weather city with a team that can contend for the championship. If this is true, that rules out basically everyone except Phoenix and Dallas. The other warm weather teams (Lakers, Clippers, Rockets, etc.) either aren't close enough to be contenders or don't have the type of pieces to make a deal for KG work.

As for Bryant, Dr. Buss is known for being very stubborn. In my opinion, this saga is going to drag on at least into training camp. I think Kobe is going to actually sit out the start of the season in order to force the Lakers to move him. Is he willing to do that?
