Dear Mr. Wolf:

Although I remain angry at Herman Badillo for removing himself from the mayoral race some years ago; such does not mitigate my enormous respect for his many accomplishments--not the least of which is his chosen spouse...

What wonderful creativity in this remarkable teacher--Gail Badillo--and her seventh grade students...Yes, indeed: this is what learning is all about. We begin with a given; theme, structure, wisdom--and then the student issues forth his own talent. May I add: Where, indeed, would we all be without "content"? Stymied in the stone age?
