My PC friends are all saying this is a clash of civilizations, but I'm not seeing much evidence of the "Islamic" civilization. Personally, I think the West should give them the same back. How about some demonstrations against the Islamics, let's burn some effigies and flags. Let the skin heads and right wingers do some marching and speech making, just maybe it'll get the point across to our politicos and the Iranians and their friends that the sword can cut both ways.

What'll happen is we'll kiss their butts again and apologize for not understanding their pain and anger. Th same old, same old.
