Its official!! when a team (the highly touted Mets) cant even manage to squeeze out more than 2 runs out of a pitcher who's been struggling, has an ERA of over 6.0, couldnt even go past 5 innings you are officially a lowsy team.
Omar has to trade, not for pitching but for a power hitting outfielder. Preferably a left fielder like (and I think he would be avaliable) Carlos Lee. Give Houston Milledge & Heillman for Lee and a minor league pitcher to be named later.
Milledge has the promise of being good, reminds me of a young Sheffield and Heillman will get his wish to become a starter in Houston.
The Mets get a bonified power man who is not afraid to take a team onto his shoulders, hes a bit of premodona but with the veterans on this team i dont think it would be a problem.
