Kelly Says Police Procedures In Shooting Were ‘Unusual'

Submitted by Julianne, Nov 28, 2006 04:57

An investigation into the police massacre of Sean Bell will be welcome, but shame on the hoodlums and murderers who hide behind the badge. In the name of law and order, they murdered a good man, in apparent violation of police procedures and without provocation. In addition, one of the so-called officers was drinking. How many African American men have to die before the NYPD gets its act together. Shame on the police murderers, and on their boos, Ray Kelley, who apparently stands behind them. Kudos to Mayor Bloomberg for calling the force "excessive", but as Al Sharpton says, there must be a change in policy, not just an increase in civility.
