The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is unequal. Israel is the recipient of a never-ending avalanche of billions and billions of American taxpayers' dollars used to purchase the very best military equipment. Suicide bombing is the last resort of the under dog in the struggle. The Palestinians are in effect fighting against the Israelis and the economic muscle of America. A suicide bomb is a means of getting even which bypasses the billions of dollars of military aid. It is simple and effective, and sacrifices the life of one Palestinian for twenty, thirty, maybe even more Israelis; and it destroys Israeli morale. The Israelis will not give back the Palestinian land and the Palestinians will not give up their struggle to regain it. The Palestinians are desperate and will resort to desperate measures. At a time when nationalism is out of vogue in the West, Israeli nationalism is on an ever spiralling increase. Will America ever cease to increase its military aid to Israel?

Hence suicide bombs.
