Brooklyn Arabic School
in response to reader comment: No public funds for religious schools

Submitted by Karen Vaughan, Jun 18, 2007 13:47

This is a school with a cultural focus, which allows students of a variety of races and religions to learn about an area of the world that is of increasing importance, as one special focus of instruction. It is not a Muslim school. It is a public school. If we want peace in the mideast we better teach our children the languages and the history of that part of the world before we seek to intervene and make things worse.
