Dear Ambassador Lauder--

You are undoubtedly a just man, and the epitome of diplomacy--all of which our late President Ronald Reagan--must have recognized...

I commend you for your objectivity as to the late Kurt Waldheim, and the Austrian people, generally. I cannot be so gracious, even recognizing as fact that the late diplomat did accomplish some good in his life. Certain evil just cannot be rectified by later good.

However, I respect and appreciate your valued opinion. God bless you.
