Statistical evaluations of this kind are such easy prey to abusive construction. This reader remains unimpressed, having continual contact with young students of a local public school., i.e., reviewing their "mathematics" homework--which books continue to infuriate me! Occasionally, there is an exercise with merit--but the opposite is most often true. However, if there is some progress--I commend it.

Yet, the last entry in this essay by someone obviously applauding a particular charter school: "...96% of kindergartners read on grade level"--truly disables me. Kindergartners read "I", "a", and "A,B,C". Help the educrats; they need it.!
