Many fans have commented on blogs that maybe the black screen we saw at the very end, before the credits rolled, is Tony getting shot....I don't personally believe it, but who knows? The lack of a nice ending tied up with strings is part of what makes the show great. Real life does not have tidy endings or even beginnings for that matter. In real life people don't live happily ever after nor do they rot in hell. The drama is in all in wondering what will happen, not in what does or doesn't actually happen. Tis the journey, not the destination, etc, etc...
