NYCLU Threatens To Sue Toys ‘R' Us Over Treatment of a Breastfeeding Shopper

Submitted by Merrie Knight, Nov 25, 2006 18:39

Was the woman crippled or handicapped in such a way as to prevent her infant from eating elsewhere? Why subject everyone to her inconsiderate behavior? Breastfeeding is naturally done in the privacy of one's home or even vehicle but in the middle of the store is not acceptable to me as paying customer. Believe it or not, some children are still brought up with morals and values of descency and consideration/respect for other people. As a grandmother, who also breastfed her children, I know this to be true.
