It's a Propaganda War.

The terrorists only need to spill blood without an objective...even their own blood...and that blood serves as fuel in a war in America that takes place wholly in the media.

If liberals in America hated the insurgents as much as they hate America, they could turn their Propaganda against the terrorists and this war would be over.

Ridicule is a potent weapon to use against the insurgents. It is also the tactic most passionately attacked throughout the world.
