Blah, blah, numbers, numbers, blah, blah. This woman is berserk. Just because different segments spend the same amount of money doesn't mean they have anything left over. Why should we have to spend everything to live = cost of living. The ultimate fact, undeniably, is the top 1% of America controls 99% of the wealth and once you get to these other quintiles it is a mad scramble for the scraps. Stop honking an air horn in the bleachers if you have nothing to cheer about. CEOs make 400 times what their employees make. There are no millionaires in the top 400 richest people. Poor run of the mill, average wage earning millionaires. Ms. Furchtgott-Roth lives in a dream land of which the average American does not live.
