Cavs, Like Several Others, Are Trying To Clone Spurs

"The trend is so strong that even a team that would seem to be the polar opposite of the Spurs — the Phoenix Suns — has gone in that direction. Just this week they hired Steve Kerr — a former Spur player whom Nets fans remember for hitting two big shots to send them to defeat in Game 5 of the 2003 Finals — to become their new team president and general manager."

This paragraph is premised on flawed logic and depreciates the previous arguments you made. The Suns' hiring of a former role player on the Spurs (who was more famous for his role alongside Michael Jordan) in no way indicates that the Suns are imitating or modeling themselves after the Spurs. Kerr was a spot up shooter and ball-handler--irreplaceable, but hardly the face of the current type of Spurs basketball you claim everyone is imitating. Now, if the Suns hired Bruce Bowen or Tim Duncan, or even Sean Elliot, you could claim that the hiring of a player--not a member of the coaching staff or executive personnel--was an indication of an attempt to mimic the Spurs brand of basketball and organizational operation.
