Romney's Mormon Faith Proves Divisive
in response to reader comment: Romney's Mormon Faith Provides Diversion

Submitted by Bob Henstra, Jun 3, 2007 00:31

As a young man I served my country as a Vietnam era vet, USAF.  And after my service to my country, as an LDS missionary for my Church.  It was me who decided where and why to serve.  Of my four sons, three served church missions, none served in the armed forces.  They, as I did, made their own decisions!  Romney and his kids like the rest of us, make their own decisions.   Romney is being attacked not because of his religion,  not because of how or where he or his kids served, but because he scares those supporting other cantidates.  Romney is an exemplery man, and if elected will be a great president!  Those facts are very worrisome for those knowingly supporting lessor cantidates for selfish purposes.
