Iran is sending armed men and arms to murder our soldiers in Iraq. They have been doing this for years and are doing it right now. It seems to me we are not 'inching' toward war, we are and have been at war with Iran for years. One exception - they kill us, and we do nothing. Since WWII, the only war that we have fought and won has been with Grenada. That was a tough one, but we pulled through. Memorial day is for remembering. It seems we have forgotten.
