Scrutinize Amnesty International

Submitted by Miriam Reik, May 26, 2007 08:29

It is noteworthy that Steinberg is more interested in discrediting Amnesty International's standing than the substance of its criticism of Israel. . . If Amnesty's findings are "biased," what about those of Human Rights Watch and the special rapporteur of the UN, whose findings are essentially the same? And what of Israel's own B'tselem? Are they all biased? I wonder when Prof. Steinberg last visited Gaza, or is he just pontificating from his Ivory Tower?
