Who Needs Action When You Have Robin?

It was a mistake not make more mention of Crosby's success with Leo Robin's songs. After all Robin and Rainger wrote almost exclusively for Crosby, just Burke and Van Huesen did in later years. To those of us that a know a bit about the history of pop music in the America, the lack of playing up Crosby's almost exclusive affiliation with these songs was either just dumb or based on worrying about someone else potentially bruised ego. It wouldn't hurt some of the younger commers to take note of Crosby's incredible contribution in not only how he sang, but that he turned songs into "standards". And he still out sold Sintra, The Beatles, and Elvis combined which says alot about a career that spanned over 50 years.
