Yes, the "experts" - (writers who act like expert scouts) mostly wrote off the Mets starting pitchers as pitiful this past off season, but some of us saw the potential and believed the starters would be more than adequate. Okay, maybe we weren't saying they would lead the league, but we had faith. if nothing else, the "experts" should trust Omar Minaya. Is it time for "we told you so?"
