So the government agency spending our money on broadcasts in ARABIC is not run by ARABIC speakers.

We have many hundreds of thousands of highly educated Arabic speakers in the United States. MOST (!) of these, particularly those who came more than 10 years ago, are Christians (Egyptian Copts, Iraqi Assyrians, Lebanese Maronites etc.) and thus beyond suspicion of Islamist sympathies.

Thousands of these Arab-Americans:
(1) Speak, understand and write sophisticated, literate Arabic.
(2) Understand the thinking and dynamics of Arab countries.
(3) Are unconditionally loyal to their country - the United States of America.
(4) Are willing to work for reasonable pay.

Of course, most of these highly intelligent Americans have a decisive flaw - they did not attend Ivy League colleges, and lack the sophisticated dress sense and urbane, liberal sophistication to be invited to chi-chi parties in D.C. and New York.
