Darfur - the China Problem

Those Americans who point fingers at China, alleging Darfur is somehow China's fault, are cowards, pure and simple.

They are too chicken to accuse their own government of genocide, or dismantling entire civilizations and murdering innocent women and children on a daily basis, for fear of reprisals. So these cowards do what they do best. They pick on the Chinese, knowing full well that the Chinese are too polite to cuss these cowards out.

If Gordon Chang's "logic" is correct (buys 2/3 of the oil, and 70% of that money goes to the Sudanese government, the same that allows the violence to take place, blah, blah, blah . . . .), then America is largely responsible for all the bad things that Saddam had done.

The Sudanese Arabs had been oppressing and killing the southern blacks for millenia, LONG before China showed up. America was there before China. The Brits were there before them. Why don't the cowards point fingers at the Anglos for not having stopped the violence for centuries?

China's presence in Africa is a breath of rejuvenating fresh air. The cowards refuse to acknowledge that after 300 years of Western "largesse," Africa had been poorer than 300 years before. It was only with China's growth that Africa really was given a chance. This year African economic growth will be greater than 7% in quite a few of the nations, with a continent wide growth rate of over 5.5%. ALL of that is because of China's selfless help in Africa.

Go take a trip to Khartoum. Look at the clean streets and the neat development, all thanks to construction by China. This is a story being repeated all over the continent, bringing hope and prospertiy to the natives.

Yet the cowards refuse to face these facts. They just transfer their guilt of having screwed up the lives of natives all over the world, and point their silly fingers at the gentle Chinese.
