Mitt Romney being a Mormon should not disqualify him from being the 2008 Republican nominee. Does anyone remember the uproar from the evangelicals when John Kennedy ran for president? The Pope was going to be running the United States from Rome, Kennedy would just be a puppet of the Pope, etc, etc. If the Republicans really want to regain the presidency, they'd better think twice about using Romney's religion as a litmus test. We want a true conservative , and much as I admire "America's Mayor", he is too liberal on many issues. As for Mr. McCain--no comment!
