Crowding Outcry May Follow Arabic School to New Site

Submitted by Mary Tressy, May 10, 2007 21:35

This proposed school makes no mention of following the basic curriculum that is required of all public and non-public schools in the state of NY that are funded by the taxpayers. Catholic schools who because of the separation of Church and State are not supported by our taxes are still required to teach a basic curriculum which includes for example the teaching of American history in grades 4, 7 and 8. Is this tax supported school going to do the same? If not why not? I have read nothing on this important aspect of this proposed school.

Mary, why don't you contact the principal, Debbie Almontaser, to find out the curriculum? [MORE]
