Sorry I was so long getting back to you.

"crass commercialism" If I felt that way about it I'd join the Amish sect and some of them worship the devil.

How do you know what you've came back as, imagination something or someone has told you so. How do you know some of your lifes' were better or bad as before. I am being serious here. In reincarnation of course you don't have to worry about being judged by a higher diety after death. But what if there is a God that is going to judge everyone, great or small, good or bad, what then? Just asking.

Your second paragraph. That's one of the great facts that give credence to the Bible. Most biographies (or I'd hope mine would) skip or soften the bad and often overstate the good. Telling it like it is gives people confidence the Bible can be trusted and not cover up. Besides Satan's idea is to convince people they are such great sinners God cannot or will not save them. Such as King David whom God said was after His own heart. But then David sent a top General in his army off to battle knowing he would be killed so David could have his wife for his own. Then when his conscience humbled him and realized he had grvieously sinned he ask for and got forgiveness from God.

Maybe you have not heard or saw the alcoholic, the ruthless murderer and so on do a total turn around without AA on the spot when he gets saved.

Tobacco just like the atom. Yes man can sure cause hell on earth, that's why we need God. And God will see that His wishes are carried out even at times using man to accomplish what He wishes. Intentional wars are caused by sinful men. Then we have to protect ourselves personally or nationaly. It's not pretty but that's life since Adam and Eve's sin.

The author that penned "Amazing Grace" was also a slaver before he got saved. We look at life from the day we were born because that's the only way we can look at it. If we could be born old then progressed backward to an infant then maybe this world could be better but I doubt it. Man is going to do what sinful or a saved individual wants to do cause of what's in their heart. What was considered the norm centuries before we were born we can't say. America suffered horribly with our Civil War because of slavery but it didn't begin at the start to free slaves but for "states rights." Priests had no idea when they first came into contact with indigenous peoples they would contract and decimate them with deseases.

Dante: He was a religious man and was not the inventor of hell. He only expounded on what he already believed in. He also was a great "prose" man. Hell was around centuries before Dante (see Deuteronomy 32:22 the 5th book in the Old Testament).was a twinkl;e in his daddies eyes. and the Bible tells us so. But then you don't believe in the Bible and you have to go all the way back in the Old Testament also.. The Bible is broken down into segments. Creation, the flood, Christ's birth and and His second coming, is every 2000 years. We are now at the threshold of the "Tribulation period and then the ultimate judgement day for all.

"it was not to be what you are doing" Have you ever asked God into your heart (heart is the nomenclature man uses) but actually the soul for we cannot walk the path of righteouness without Him changing our hearts. Matt. 1:21 And she shall btring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Conditions of: Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall recieve the gidft of the Holy Ghost. Jesus often preached to the sinners in parables and here's why. Luke 8:10 And he (Jesus) said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others (unsaved) in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. What I am trying to say here is, I have had that change in my soul and it is not a belief or think so but a know so salvation.

Our forefathers weren't Christian? Most were but those that weren't ,believed as Ben Franklin said he wasn't but knew what he should do. Read, America's Providential History by Mark A. Beliles & Stephen K. McDowell. What are your leaders telling you? Who are your leaders?

Missionaries are racist?--ummmh Their cultures were fine such as cannabalism? okay? Raiding other tribes for human slavery within their own tribes? Rape, sodomy? They sold their own race into salvery to the slave traders also. The Americas Indians also did the same to their own.

Sorry again this was so long.
