Interim Coach Bradley Is Gulati's Likely Choice

I am a big follower of football. I can't remember anything written by Paul Garnder in the past decade that does not mention his belief the U.S. is missing a boat full of talented Latino players. I'm wondering where Gardner's theory originates? Our team has a variety of ethnicities. Moreover, the U.S. dominates the regional neighbors, many of whom are Latino nations. So, why would the U.S. need to seek talent from countries it has already surpassed?

Certainly players of a wide variety of backgrounds have been incorporated into U.S. soccer already. There are infinite tournaments, clubs, leagues, etc. across the country that feed into U.S. Soccer. The competition is fair and the best make it through. If there's any ethnic group that has gone largely untapped, it is is the African-American community and not the Latino.
