It took less than 200 coalition fatalities to defeat Saddam but over 3000 fatalities to try to turn Iraqis into Jeffersonian democrats. Who asked for nations-building? Since when do we support democracy where democracy never knew a home?

Oh, by the way, regime change was Clinton's policy. Bush merely completed the course set out in previous regimes.
