Thanks for the article. Listening to talk radio and casual fans out here, you'd think the Angels were in last place. Its even more refreshing to hear praise of Artie Moreno, Bill Stoneman & Mike Scioscia from someone on the east coast. As a life long Angel fan who endured the Autry years of trading young players for old, I couldn't agree more with the current philosophy.

Sure it would be nice to have one more big bat. But I'll take Weaver, Kendrick, Saunders, Shields and/or Wood over Tijada or Soriano any day of the week. Lastly, you made a great case for the Angel's future, yet you could have gone further. How about Erik Aybar & Reggie Willits. Who are these guys?
