But, and this is a big but, can Israel win it's future wars with it's multitude of enemies?

The bottom line is simple, now that Hezbollah won a sort of victory by getting the UN cease fire agreement (which it has already violated pointing to Israel's overflights to check on it's adherence), Syria has massed troops and missiles close to the Golan Heights, Hamas and Islamic Jihad have again called for the violence within Israel itself, clerics within the Palestinian Authority are giving sermons calling for murder, Iraq is still a mess with the possibility of American's losing patience, and Iran continuing to enrich uranium in violation of the UNSC, is Israel's democracy, and penchant for introspection and debate, suffice to ward off the calls for "Jihad" and the "return to Jerusalem"?

Democracy notwithstanding and Israel's free press and speech, can she recover from all her divisions and split personality, to either avoid such a conflict altogether or in any new round with Hezbollah, use it's so-called superiority in weapons and troop strength, to overcome the knowledge that the terrorist group obtained from it's own "victory over Israel"?
