As our own very good general in Iraq says, it's time to stop looking in the rear veiw mirror and move on.

Israel has a habit of too much introspection, and getting even with it's leaders if things don't work out to their expectations.

Sharon and the people advising him did not want to open another front with Israel's enemy, Hezbollah, and thus concentrate on Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror groups and avoided a clash. Olmert simply maintained that policy.

Even the most naive of observers knew that without occupying Lebanon, Hezbollah would regroup, and resupply, no matter what the UN demanded or Condi advocated.

The decision to allow the Lebanese civilians to seek shelter to the north of the battle, and avoid casualties, affected the outcome significantly.

The leaders knew that the Katyusha Rockets had a range suffice to land well south in Israel, so why all this analysis and criticism? They, Hezbollah, made the decision to test Israel's will to fight back..knowing the restraints on the Israeli army.

It's time Israel focus on it's real problem to the east, Iran. There is no room for game playing in that arena.
