Clinton and Obama Raiding Donors Who Backed Bush

Submitted by Lisa Fane, Apr 30, 2007 16:36

I've long suspected that the reason Obama and Clinton are winning the donation race is because of support from Republicans who see both of them as unelectable in the general election. They don't have any really strong GOP candidates so they are playing defense and making sure that the Democrats elect the weakest opponent. John Edwards has the most broad appeal to the general electorate and consistantly wins in polls against the possible Republicans. We democrats need to see through this ruse and support and vote for the person who has the best chance of winning the White House. I believe (and I think Republicans believe) that John Edwards is that person.
