And he does not misrepresent Jimmy Carter. If anything, he's too easy on him. In any case, Romney's depth of understanding of mideast issues surpasses that of most other current presidential candidates (including some Republicans and all Democrats). He seems by far the most intelligent and reminds me of STeve Forbes (whom I supported in 1996 and 2000), absent Forbes' robust comprehension of economic issues. If Romney keeps on this conservative path he will gain stature and become a formidable candidate.
