I am so glad that our state government is wasting time trying to apologize for something this generation had nothing to do with. How about working to BRING DOWN GAS PRICES!!!!! how about trying to figure out a way to stop the rise of property tax. These are things that will make it affordable to LIVE in NYS! Take the laws of 1817 or whatever year it was, out of the books, and be done with it. Having never owned a slave, and making no plans to ever do so... I make no apologize. What am I sorry for? I'll tell you what though, I think the state... and the entire country ought to formally apologize to the Native Americans for coming to THIER land, and taking it over as if we had a right to it, how about that? Oh, thats right...we apologized by giving Native Americans little pieces of land. How nice of us. By the way, I am reminded almost dailey that I am sorry for what happened to African Americans... every time I am called a cracker, snowflake, whitey or whatever racial slur they see fit to call me. So lets start apologizing to those people we hurt first, the Indians. Although, I still personally had nothing to do with that either. How 'bout them gas prices?
