Graduation Rate Discrepancy To Be Narrowed

Submitted by George Rivera, Apr 23, 2007 19:13

I am inclined to accept as valid the definition that establishes higher rates of graduation supported by higher standards of scholastic excellence. Lowering standards to juggle scores is lying, cheating, corrupt, and steals not only from our present society, but from the student on which our future society depends.

Mayor Bloomberg needs to allow his leagacy the opportunity to have a life of its own. He should stop trying to mold the future New York City in his image. He His past, and proposed changes to education are devastating the live of millions of present and future wage earning children.

Raise the standards
