Yes, the day will come to Jeter, as it does to every athlete, that he will have to move to second, outfield or DH. However, after one slow start in a season that started out with rotten cold rainy snowy weather and a pitching staff that had the entire infiled back on its heels with terrible pitching, now is premature.
As I remember, last season many of the NY press were predicting that ARod was done too.
I guess when you have so many column inches to fill it is easy to lapse into creative writing exercises.
