I agree completely. I had a friend who was clearly insane. It was tragic. The family tried to get him hospitalized and it was next to impossible. Even when he was admitted (as a clear threat to himself and his mother) he was released after he had been given enough "thorozine" "Melaril" etc. (excuse spelling). He was given a prescription and released. He tried to kill his mother and I had to help her, once again, take him to another hospital. I spent the 4th of July weekend involved in this travesty. Political correctness and the ADA are responsible for the deaths at V Tech. However, I think the students should have formed some kind of a "posse" to watch this man. Also, someone must have known the had guns. Don't these schools have metal detectors. There is so much blame to go around. As a former New Yorker I know that when you are riding in the subway (for instance) and you see someone acting strangely, you get out of the way FAST. We are too complacent. The laws won't protect you, so you have to protect yourself
