Study Backs Results of For-Profit Schools

Submitted by Helen Louise Herndon, Apr 12, 2007 11:10

Such research compares apples to oranges in my opinion. Most for-profit schools can accept and reject low-performing students and students with behavioral problems. Traditional public schools must accept and keep all students regardless of their achievements or behavior. Additionally, for-profit schools are not subjected to the battery of legislated mandates and requirements traditional public schools have imposed upon them. Surely, someone is willing to do research that compares schools on level grounds and foundations. Helen Louise Herndon St. Louis, Missouri
