It's unfortunate that the people of Chechnya just can't seem to get a break, and that Putin is more concerned with consolidating power than he is with actually trying to better the lives of his people. Setting up thugs as sock-puppet presidents who are given free reign to carry on their warlording ways in exchange for "loyalty" is such a disgusting habit of Vlad's.

The people of Chechnya deserve better than this.
