Senator Kennedy Will Reintroduce Immigration Bill

Submitted by alice, Apr 4, 2007 18:10

I think a comprehensive bill like Kennedy/Mccain will allow Pardon (or amnesty) not only for illegal immigrants, but for those law enforcement agents who turned a blind eye to those who hired illegal immigrants. It would be also a pardon (amnesty) for those employees who pretended they "do not know" that their employers are illegal. They employees do know really well that these immigrants will work harder than most American's, for 40% less than Americans, and do a job that most Americans would not even consider.

Since most Americans broke immigration law one way or the other in order to satisfy the supply and demand in labor - amnesty is needed.

Illegal immigrants are practically invited here. They work hard for little money. Most pay taxes (including social security taxes for US AMERICANS - they cannot use social security benefits they contribute to). Our economy if flourishing, because of their huge contribution to our society. The way our law works now they cannot come here legally - there are not enough working visas and they are not available to most people. Their labor is needed.

THE LAW THAT MAKES NO SENSE WILL CONTINUE TO BE BROKEN.

That's why a comprenehsive reform is needed - we need to change the law that makes no sense, that is not enforced, and that allows explotation of people.
