I came across this article while looking into a shelter for women. You see I will be holeless in about 4 months time. Not by choice, but becaseu of a failed marriage. I have no one to turn too and do not want to burden any of my children. I lived in Vermont the last 8 years, sacrificing friendship and company form anyone. They are not too friendly here in vermont. Dont let the scenery fool you. That is all it is Scenery and Maple syrup and cheese. I made sure the last of my children graduated from one of the best high schools the state had to offer. But in that I set myself up for failure. Now that all of my children are grown and on their own, I am not about to turn to them.

After being married most of my life and now loosing my husband to the women here oin Vermont that think my husband was Gods gift to women, I have nothing left. So this is a sad article for me to read. I had hopes of moving upstate New York and trying to start over with what little sanity I have left. I will put a few things in sotrage and then just drive away. How can anyone do such a horrible job of helping people.? Why and how have they gotten away witrh this. Is not anything sacred anymore? I don't want to be homeless. But I will sleep in my car if I have too. At least I I have that. I am not going to give up and I pray that none of you will either.

I never been or even heard of that shelter until now, But I would like to thank all of the workers however for what they did to help as many as they could with the little resorces they had left. Somebody needs to thank them. I hope the author of this article and the gentleman who also wrote the next message after the author, are well and finding some peace in all of this.

Stay strong
