300 was visually great but if you know anything about history you should know that 300 was glorifying a savage race of slavemasters (the spartans, who were in real life dorians) who had actually atacked persia bringing on the invasion. On top if that the film was war propaganda with charectors often uttering lines like "freedom isn't free". all in all if I was Iranian i'd be madd to. I'm not saying that I agree with the Iranian governments stance on other things highlighted in this article, such as the passage about the Iranian's claiming hollywood was promoting a zionist state and such, however the fact is their right 300 is completely inaccurate, but i still found it entertaining.
