With Eyes on White House, Giuliani Wades Into Darfur

Submitted by pilsener, Mar 23, 2007 10:16

Maybe I'm just grumpy this morning. But politicians of both parties have clearly demonstrated that rhetoric, especially campaign rhetoric, on Darfur and other humanitarian disasters in Africa, is completely empty rhetoric.

The UN will not act, the EU will not act, NATO will not act, China will not act, the African Union is incapable of acting, and therefore the United States will not act. So the genocide will continue. Until a politician is willing to state the obvious on Darfur, mentioning Darfur is a negative with me.
