I have to laugh at people who reveiw movies when they obviously don't understand that some movies are

made to make you think. The lake house was one of those movies. People say why didn't they e-mail each

other. Let me explain the movie. In simple terms. She lives in the present. Her past has been lived. He

lives in the past. His future has not been lived. Therefore she can change what happens to him but he

can not change what happened HAPPENED to her already. There is the premise. Watch the movie again

with that in mind and the movie is a beautiful romance story that makes sense to anybody who has a

thinking mind. Yes the director could have given some better clues but is wasn't necessary. Not in a

logical way anyhow.
