One of the biggest problems I see is the interchangeable sexual offender and sexual predator. There have been media and politicians using both in one sentence when speaking of violent sexual predators or sexual predators. You need to get it right. Are you speaking of sex offenders with extremely low recidivism rates, violent sexual predators, sexual predators or pedophiles.

In the Couey case for example. When he was convicted, I believe of his second child molestation many years ago, he begged for help. He told the Police he had many other victims. He told the Police he knew he had a problem. He was never given any help. Granted, that fact did not give him the right to do what he did to Little Jessica, but I have to wonder, if he had been given help when he asked, would this incident have happened? We will never know. Another thing that bothers me about this incident is Couey was on Probation. Why did hid probation officer not know where he was? Why was he not looked for earlier? All of these things run through my mind when a child is raped and murdered.

I am of the opinion that there should be intense therapy in every single prison in the United States. Wouldn't you rather your tax dollars that go to the Prison System be used for rehabilitation rather than the inmates just sittig around doing nothing? I feel all inmates need intense therapy for their crime not just for sex offenders, but any offender. Sex offenders have the second lowest recidivism rate. Murderers have the highest. Drunk Drivers, Drug offenders/abusers and Burglary have the highest. Also, a convicted drug user/abuser/dealer is more likely to commit a sex offense upon release from prison that a sex offender is.

What we need is to start Educating our Children, Parents and all of Society on the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse. This is what we are trying to do at Roar for Freedom is to teach Prevention of Child Abuse. We are a group combined of victims, survivors, rehabilitated sex offenders and friends and families of each. We listen to the reknowned therapists. Please America, stop allowing your freedom to be taken away. All it takes is an accusation to get put on the registry. No evidence is needed.
