New York is tradition, while LA is an experiment gone bad. If something isn't done to seriously improve its public transportation system, the city will come to a complete halt. The traffic and the pollution combined with the relentless heat are unbearable. 90,000 homeless people on the streets is an unacceptable statistic. Yes, we have more space in LA, however, due to poor urban planning, it has become a curse rather than a blessing. I blame greedy developers and irresponsible, corrupt politicians who go for a quick buck without thought for consequences. May God have mercy on us, because our government does not care.
