Latest Philanthropy Trend: Giving Away Bar Mitzvah Gifts

Submitted by Bill, Mar 15, 2007 10:58

What a great story about kids doing good and acting like responsible adults. The mainstream media tend to do stories on things that do not make the Jewish people look good, like the $100K Bar Mitzvah parties, and people giving their dogs a "Bark Mitzvah" (actually that story was in the Forward, I believe). It is nice to hear young people learning about the importance of philanthropy.
