South Africa Bans ‘Canned' Hunting of Large Animals

if this is true, then it is a boon and a godsend to hunters and environmentalists everywhere. i can attest to the fact is that real hunters, as true conservationists, shudder whenever a canned hunt is referenced.the fat boys who think that they are hunters when they visit RSA should stay home and keep playing golf and smoking cigars. they know who they are. they give real hunters, those who scrupulously observe fair chase principles, a bad name. i'd much rather have a spirited conversation with a PETA trustifarian than with a fat-boy SCI "hunter". i see those guys in J-burg airport and they give me the willies. Fat-boy country club assholes, you guys who talk about your 'safaris' to RSA, listen up. RSA is great for game ranches to provide seed stock for reintroducing species to neighboring areas; otherwise it provides an outlet for low-skill low-ambition low-ability 'hunters' with money to get it out of their systems. figure it out: you are pussies, and the hunters who have to deal with you at SCI, J-burg airport, the local gun-ranges or sporting-goods stores, are heroes for listening to your weak stuff. shut up, or get off your comfort-loving ass and go to namibia, botswana, zambia, zimbabwe, tanzania, mozambique, CAR, cameroon, or even alaska for that manner, if you think you can tolerate a non-gauranteed "hunting-experience". Non-hunters take heart---the people who know the score are paying for most of the privately-funded true game conservation around the world. the slobs who hog the spotlight, who boast about their exploits, are known and barely-tolerated by real hunters.if the folks who run SCI had any shit in their necks they would create a separate area for those who hunt RSA or Texas high-fence; there's very little difference other than Texas is a little more expensive for those who can't tolerate the inconvenience of an 18 hour flight. sign me---hunt w/ no fence or shut up!
